Jo Bierman, RD

Jo began her career in 2018 at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where she specialized in pediatric health, addressing issues like picky eating, infant solid food introduction, infant formula, and poor weight gain. In 2021, she moved to Seattle and joined Swedish Medical Center’s Pediatric Specialty Clinic, where she collaborated with GI specialists to educate patients on food allergies, Celiac disease, Irritable Bowel Disease, and growth concerns. In 2023, she joined the Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic at the Medical University of South Carolina, helping children and families manage diabetes through nutrition. Throughout her career, even in pediatric settings, she spent most of her time educating parents and caregivers—those responsible for shopping and meal prep. This led her to develop a deep passion for helping families create meals that fit their preferences, schedule, and budget. For over the past year, she's been working with remote private practices to support adults and families across the country. Outside of her nutrition work, Jo teaches yoga and enjoys spending time with her mini Australian Shepherd, Sebastian. She's also an avid reader, hiker, and snowboarder. She's passionate about health and strives to bring that mindset into all areas of her life.
