This was the first time I saw Dr. Garza. Dr. Garza was not rushed - at all. She took the time to explain a recent heart monitor test in detail so I could understand what is happening inside my heart which formed the basis for my understanding her recommended treatment plan. She carefully listened and "took to heart" my concerns about my low blood pressure and the impact it has been having on recent AFib drug treatments. She discussed alternative nonprescription possibilities as well as recommended a specific narrowly focused prescription treatment for the short run. She prescribed a very low dose to start to see how well I can tolerate this new drug and will re-evaluate the long term use of this drug based on how I respond to it. She is very concerned about quality of life and has scheduled some additional tests and office visit within the next six months to do what she can to improve my overall health and daily well being. Dr. Garza is extremely sharp and gives me as a patient tremendous confidence that what she is recommending is the best course of action while willing to make future adjustments when they become necessary. I was tremendously impressed with her and feel very privileged to have her as one of my doctors.

I was admitted through the ER ... Met Dr. Garza in a surgical procedure - implantation of a heart monitor. I was fully conscious during the procedure - she kept me informed about what she was doing, what I would feel,and responded quickly when I needed more pnumbing at the incision site. A positive experience during a very stressful , unplanned hospitalization.
