About David B. Fittingoff
Board certified endocrinologist David Fittingoff, M.D., was influenced by his father, also an endocrinologist, to pursue a career in medicine. Plus, the challenge of the specialty intrigued him. With few cures for endocrine problems, such as diabetes and thyroid conditions, helping patients control symptoms and their overall health takes a thorough understanding of the patient and the disease itself.
Dr. Fittingoff received his medical degree from Hahnemann University and went on to complete an internship at LAC/USC Medical Center, a residency at Wadsworth VA Medical Center and Sepulveda VA Medical Center, all in Los Angeles, Calif., and a fellowship in endocrinology at the Sepulveda VA.

Because Dr. Fittingoff had been on medical leave, my appointment was postponed for nearly three months. However, my issues and concerns were addressed. My lab results appear in My Chart so no need for my doctor or his staff to contact me about them unless I have questions or they have concerns.

Dr. Fittingoff has been my doctor for many years. I trust him implicitly and he carefully listens to all my concerns and answers all my questions. He checks me thoroughly and suggested a follow up with my cardiologist which I happen to have an appointment with on the books. Dr. Fittingoff is my favorite doctor and I feel very safe and well cared for by him in all my years as his patient. Great human being as well as doctor.
