About Fawn M. Wolf
Fawn Wolf, MD, has always enjoyed talking with people, problem solving and biology. All of this combined, pointed her in the direction of a career in medicine. “I spent some time in college shadowing physicians and absolutely loved it,” she says. For Dr. Wolf, the practice of endocrinology was a perfect blend of molecular biology and human interactions.
Dr. Wolf values the long-term relationships she’s built with her patients. She has a subspecialty in pituitary disease management and enjoys the mix of chronic disease management and managing thyroid and pituitary disease. “I like to help patients find what will motivate them to lead their healthiest, most enjoyable lives possible,” she says.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She obtained her medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. Both her internship and residency were completed at Legacy Health Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Wolf was born and raised in Michigan but moved to Portland for her residency. She has happily lived here ever since and likes spending time with her husband and two children. She’s an avid runner and cook.

Dr Wolf was on the surgical team who, 10 years ago, removed my pituitary tuner and saved my left eye. I owe my sight to Dr Wolf & other Providence team members.

I am very glad that Dr Wolf is my endocrinologist. I can not imagine anyone whom I would rather have for my care.

First let me say that every visit with Dr. Wolf was a very positive experience. I feel very confident in her care. At one time, I found her most supportive of my emotional needs. For that I'm very grateful. As a physician, I would describe her as exceptional.

Dr. Fawn Wolf is an excellent physician who listens to you, and responds in a manner that is understandable (no complicated medical jargon). I never feel rushed when I have an appointment with her. She takes the time to listen and respond to my questions and concerns. Dr. Wolf's follow-up is excellent as she responds quickly with conversations on MyChart. She also goes above and beyond to make the effort to consult with one of my other physicians if she wants to research a matter. I'm 66 years old, and I've never received such good response time with any other physician. I have no hesitation recommending Dr. Fawn Wolf to my friends who are searching for an Endocrinologist.
