Kathryn E. Sander, ARNP, FNP

Kat is a Board-Certified ARNP who has been practicing medicine in the Spokane area for almost 20 years. She completed her graduate nursing degree at Pacific Lutheran University in 2007 and practiced primary care at CHAS for 8 years before leaving family practice to specialize in Endocrinology. While in her primary care role, she developed a Diabetes subspecialty program embedded in primary care that expanded and still exists today in the CHAS Health system. She has been actively practicing in Endocrinology for the past 9 years (previously with Kaiser Permanente) and is the newest member of the Providence Endocrinology team. Her subspecialty interests are Diabetes and insulin dysregulation, Diabetes technology, thyroid and parathyroid dysfunction and bone metabolism/ osteoporosis. She has an established commitment to patient advocacy and seeks to listen, educate, guide, and empower her patients.
