About Parshaw J. Dorriz

Dr. Parshaw Dorriz is a board certified neurologist with a specialty in epilepsy. He attended medical school at American University of the Caribbean. He then completed his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Following this, he completed his fellowship at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC+USC).

He currently practices with Mission Heritage Medical Group in Orange County, California, where he specializes in treating epilepsy. He is currently the physician director at the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. The unit allows Dr. Dorriz and his team to monitor patient’s electroencephalogram (EEG) around the clock and locate where the seizures are originating from. This will support Mission Hospital physicians as they treat patients for possible surgical resection or epilepsy surgery and significantly improve the lives of Orange County residents struggling with epilepsy.

Dr. Dorriz believes in guiding patients with compassionate care and creating a treatment plan together as a team. He works to connect with his patients to learn their backgrounds, cultures, and family dynamic to ensure that the patient has a strong healing process.
