Dr Dorriz literally saved my life. He was the ninth doctor I saw relating to a seizure problem. Over the year, previous to my first visit with Dr. Dorriz, I had literally lost half my intelligence and was having weekly seizures. He was the only one willing to take the time to interpret the data and think out of the box. He figured out my seizures were not coming from a neurological problem, they were coming from a metabolism problem. The metformin I was prescribed was lowering my blood sugar to below 50 while I slept. I was literally killing brain cells every night. The other eight doctors I saw totally missed this. He pulled some strings and got me into the Endocrinologist right away and my life was saved. The time, warmth, and professional intellectual capacity of Dr. Dorriz is the reason I'm alive today. Please thank him again for me.

Dr Dorriz is the best medical provider I've had in treating my epilepsy. He is well trained and knowledgeable as a neurologist and is interested in my well being.

Dr. Dorriz is an exceptional Eptileptologist and we are so lucky to have him here in South County.

Dr. Dorriz is a dedicated and thorough neurologist who answered all my questions. He has ordered an MRI to help further clarify why a siezure disorder occurred after years of alcohol abuse. He also plans to prescribe an anti anxiety medication which I have asked for. He agrees to confer with the psychiatrist who is also treating me.

It took me three months to get in to see this provider. My follow up appointment is In four months. I understand this office is a little short staffed now but still that long of a wait for something as important as what I'm experiencing. Seems way too long. Dr. Dorriz has a demeanor that is efficient yet friendly. I especially appreciated when he would speak with me directly, he would roll his stool over and adjust it to being eye level with me.
