A fabulous physician!!!

Doctor gave me urgent appointment at my request and was very attentive to listen to my problems and patiently addressed my problems as usual very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely - and I'd make it personal because this is the kind of review that actually says why he's such a good neurologist, especially for something as complicated as epilepsy.I truly could not say enough positive things about my neurologist. I have epilepsy that was previously uncontrolled, and over the past five years, with his care, we have been able to get it under control. Throughout that entire process, he has been incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, compassionate, and willing to think outside the box.He has always taken the time to explain my condition and all of my options in a way that I can fully understand, which has been especially important while learning how to navigate a life-changing diagnosis and disability. He never makes me feel rushed or like there is only one solution. Whether we are discussing medications, lifestyle changes, side effects, or different approaches to treatment, he makes sure I understand my choices and feel involved in my own care.Most importantly, I genuinely feel that he cares about how I am doing as a person, not just as a patient with epilepsy. I feel very fortunate to have a neurologist I trust so completely, and I could not recommend him more highly.

As always I feel very comfortable with Dr. Dorriz and his team.

Dr Dorriz literally saved my life. He was the ninth doctor I saw relating to a seizure problem. Over the year, previous to my first visit with Dr. Dorriz, I had literally lost half my intelligence and was having weekly seizures. He was the only one willing to take the time to interpret the data and think out of the box. He figured out my seizures were not coming from a neurological problem, they were coming from a metabolism problem. The metformin I was prescribed was lowering my blood sugar to below 50 while I slept. I was literally killing brain cells every night. The other eight doctors I saw totally missed this. He pulled some strings and got me into the Endocrinologist right away and my life was saved. The time, warmth, and professional intellectual capacity of Dr. Dorriz is the reason I'm alive today. Please thank him again for me.

Dr Dorriz is the best medical provider I've had in treating my epilepsy. He is well trained and knowledgeable as a neurologist and is interested in my well being.
