I absolutely adore Dr. Ranjbar. He is an excellent physician! I have been disappointed by other physicians at other offices, non-Providence. I am so happy I found Dr. Ranjbar he is kind, compassionate, and it is obvious that he loves what he does and does his very best to take care of his patients. I was recently admitted to the hospital and he saw my name on the admission list and came to see me. I didn't know that he knew I was there. It meant a lot to me that he showed up to check on me. For the reason I was there, he was not my Dr. But he came to check on me anyway. I'm not sure that all Drs. Would do that. Dr. Ranjbar could probably make a lot of money in another more populated area, but I think he must like this small rural community. His dedication to his patients is unmatched by any physician I have had at any point in my 57 years. Do not let this truly excellent physician get away from this small community. He certainly deserves to make more money than any hospital or insurance company CEO.

Dr. Ranijbar seems unprepared; he had my latest text/ procedure data for three weeks prior to my visit yet did not have notes rather he analyzed the data during the visit. This took up time for the appointment with information/ tasks that should have been completed prior to my visit. Dr. Ranijbar took a phone call in the middle of my visit. As well, he opened the examination room door (kept it open for a significant amount of time while we talked (others could hear). After his analysis of my data, consulted with me, he listened to my heart and lungs. My data clearly indicates a right lung injury/ condition. We talked about my right lung's issue and many of the procedures were focused on my right lung. After listening to my lungs, Dr. Ranijbar asked me if it was my right lung that had the fluid build up. This does not assure me of his abilities.

Made a special trip to the E/R to check on me

He is always the best listener, answers questions thoroughly, checks in with patient's understanding. Top notch care provider.

Dr. Rangbar is a great doctor. Providence needs to work on getting more providers so that Dr. Rangebar doesn't leave from being overworked. Providence needs to make sure that all fields of medicine are covered by their doctors. We shouldn't have to go to Santa Rosa to see a specialist. They should all be here in Humboldt.

Care provider is excellent; always listens to any concerns we might have regarding our mother who has dementia.

Provider sometimes does not fill prescriptions in a timely manner. Front desk staff ask personal questions about medical conditions before I can make appointment. Things I feel I should be discussing with doctor ONLY. Provider is a listener, does not interrupt and answers questions, does not rush out of the room. Overall satisfied with experience.

Provider somewhat listened to my concerns, but I felt the provider was rushing. Was very quick to jump to a diagnosis . When I explained my symptoms, the provider said what he thought it was, then immediately gave prescriptions for it without running any tests to confirm that diagnosis. Only after giving prescription, did the provider order tests for confirmation. Also, did not clearly inform me that one test would have many prerequisites that had to be followed in order for that test to be done. I had to make a second appointment at LabCorp to get one test taken as I had unknowingly made myself ineligible to take that test. The provider was kind, pleasant, however, I just felt like the provider wanted to hurry and end the appointment as quick as possible.

I was In terrible pain and walked into the office and told them I was in bad pain. The receptionist went and told the doctor that I was there he said he would see me right away.
