About Yelennia Palacios
Dr. Yelennia Palacios is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician specializing in women’s health, pediatric care and preventive care. She received her medical degree from UC Irvine School of Medicine and attended UC Hastings in San Francisco where she received her Master of Studies in Law with a concentration in Health Law & Policy. She completed her residency training at Scripps Chula Vista, a program known for training doctors in comprehensive medical care with an emphasis in community medicine. During her residency, she was a part of the Maternal & Child Health Track where her focus was in pediatric care and women’s health including obstetrics. She later stayed on an additional year as chief resident/junior faculty for the program and since then has had over 5 years of experience working at a federally qualified health center. Dr. Palacios was born and raised in Los Angeles but now resides in Orange County alongside her husband and 3 boys.
