He took the time to explain my pre-diabetic A1C status in detail, outlined a clear treatment plan, reviewed my prescriptions, and scheduled follow-up labs within 30 days-all with a 90-day goal to reduce medication and a December check-in. What impressed me most was how well he knew my medical history, including my care through the VA, and how seamlessly he coordinated with that information. Near the end of the appointment, he asked if I had any other concerns, which showed his genuine care for my overall well-being. I left feeling confident, informed, and truly cared for. I trust Dr Bedran, but as l feared from past experience with the concierge practice, now very difficult to get any time to see him. Let alone quality time. This was my annual physical and my nurse was very good and she briefed him well, when I did get a moment to see him. And he did catch on to an issue I have started having. But I really needed more than 5 minutes to ask his help and voice my frustrations. My health is getting more complicated and I'm afraid I can't manage it by myself. He did get some blood work going, but it's very top line I would have liked to show him my past labs before we did this. I've gotten the results on Saturday, but I've yet to hear back from the office. Again I don't want this to reflect poorly on him. Perhaps it's me who needs to chose a new doctor.
