Rommy R. Malaeb, PAC

Rommy Malaeb is a Primary Care Physician Assistant at the Hansel Family Care Center. He has been practicing medicine since 2026, with a focus on Family Medicine. He began his health care journey at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned a degree in Human Biology. Before becoming a provider, Rommy worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for several years serving the San Francisco Bay Area. He went on to receive a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada. In addition to clinical care, Rommy co-authored research focused on identifying missed opportunities to screen and treat latent tuberculosis. He also worked as a physician assistant tutor during his program to support his peers in their didactic phase. His practice emphasizes patient education and collaborative treatment and advocates that healing happens best when patients are heard and empowered. He believes any patient can overcome their unique hurdles and values every encounter with a patient as an opportunity to improve quality of life.
