Dr.Shiu is an excellent Dr. Who listens and then comes up with a plan of action. It's hard to find a Dr. That actually listens. She's superb!

I shared sensitive information with this provider that took courage to share. She was calculated and not compassionate. She appeared to question the validity of what I was saying. I havre an official diagnosis of PTSD and she kept referring to "PTSD-like symptoms" which felt like she devalued what I was saying. I didn't feel heard. It was only after my mom came in and challenged her that she improved her bedside manner. Doctors need a balance of knowledge and compassion in situations like this. Knowledge is no good if the patient leaves feeling unheard and not understood.

I walked in w/o appt. & the clerk was able to book me in due to a cancellation. He noticed I was concerned w/my high BP. Dr.Shiu was very thorough, kind & caring. She made sure all routine exams were up to date & gave me referrals as needed. I walked away relieved & at ease. I'm glad she's back from maternity leave

Dr. Siu was very attentive and polite. She took a biopsy of skin on my upper chest promptly and thoroughly explained how I should care for it daily. In addition, she provided copies of knee exercises I can complete until I received my referral for physical therapy.

Dr. Shiu is the best doctor I have ever had. Her patience is outstanding. I was apprehensive at first because she's so young, but she is wise beyond her years. She made sure that I was not rushed and she took the time to listen with intent. All of my medical concerns were addressed. I am in good hands with her. She is a gold star doctor!
