About Meghan E. Wallace
In her previous role as an ICU nurse, Meghan partnered with patients and their families and health teams to see them through serious health crises. Now, as a nurse practitioner, she is passionate about promoting good health to prevent these types of crises and to mitigate challenges as they arise. “I teach patients about both health and illness in realistic terms that empower them and their families to take charge of their own health,” she says. “I’m here as a collaborative partner – someone my patients can count on, turn to, lean on and trust.”
Deep listening, Meghan believes, is the foundation of every aspect of care. “I listen not only to my patient’s own words, but also to their family’s concerns, their medical history’s successes and challenges, and their stated and quiet goals,” she says. “I hold myself to the highest standards while providing the very best care that I can, tailored to meet each patient’s personal needs and preferences.”
Meghan holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Creighton University, and master’s and doctorate degrees in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University.
Outside of work, she aspires to magazine-worthy cooking and gardening; however, with two young children, she says, “A good day mostly looks like a messy kitchen and plastic houseplants.” She also enjoys mountain biking, road trips, and exploring new places with her family and friends.

They correctly and accurately determined that a new injection medicine would be alright for me despite my severer aversion to needles. Having done two injections now they were absolutely right. Fingers crossed that this medicine is as effective as expected.
Providence Patient
It was the first time I saw my provider, and it was an unusual circumstance. She handled things very professionally and gave me some suggestions on how to improve my situation. I would highly recommend her again. She was very compassionate and empathetic with my situation, and I left feeling heard and understood. Please share my positive feedback with the provider. She did a very good job taking care of me during our visit.
