About Tenielle R. Holste
“I believe that all people deserve compassionate care from their medical providers,” says Tenielle. “Guiding patients toward optimal health and function is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”
In her work, Tenielle is passionate about discussing diet and exercise as key components of preventive medicine and holistic wellness. She also enjoys helping people manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
Tenielle earned a degree in biology from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tenn. While volunteering in a hospital in Belize, she met three physician assistants who inspired her to continue her education. She went on to complete a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Union College in Lincoln, Neb. She has worked primarily in family medicine, with one year in orthopedic and general surgery.
In her personal life, says Tenielle, “I am always up for an adventure and rarely sit still.” She enjoys hiking, biking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, gardening, reading, sewing, traveling and learning to speak Spanish. “Since we have one life to live,” she believes, “we should live it to the fullest.”
