About Clarice C. Calopiz
Based on the philosophy of self-engagement, Dr. Clarice Calopiz focuses on patient health management at an individual level. Today, her parents practice medicine in the Philippines, which has inspired Dr. Calopiz to follow in their footsteps.
“Enduring relationships with patients and colleagues” is just one of the things Dr. Calopiz enjoys most about being a medical provider. In addition to active health management, she is a firm believer of current evidence and recommendations to achieve individual health goals.
Dr. Calopiz, a board-certified physician, earned her medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, where she majored in biology. She completed her internship with the Philippine General Hospital and San Joaquin General Hospital, where she finished her residency in family medicine.
Dr. Calopiz was born and raised in the Philippines. She practiced medicine locally in Palawan before immigrating to the United States. Outside of her medical profession, Dr. Calopiz enjoys hiking and traveling.

There was a time a year or so ago that I didn't feel like I was being heard, but that is definitely not the case now. I feel like she listens to me and tries to understand where I'm coming from in understanding my concerns and where they fit with my medical history and not just that I'm getting older. She is listening to me.

Dr. Calopiz is a great listener and thorough in her examinations. She picked out possible problems that we had not thought of, and she was correct. Her advice is valuable, and even when evaluating a particular problem still keeps the patient's overall health in mind.
