About Lynn Vanthom
Lynn Vanthom's philosophy of care as a physician associate is to create a patient-provider team and encourage patients to take an active role in their health care. "I became a provider because I want to enhance the lives of my patients and help them achieve a healthy lifestyle," she says. "I emphasize good communication, not only between myself and my patients, but also with my colleagues," Lynn says. "I hope this leads to long-lasting patient relationships, while helping them improve or maintain their quality of life."
Lynn received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and her master's degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.
Born and raised in the Portland area, Lynn loves calling the Pacific Northwest home. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cross-stitching, and playing board games with her husband and three children.

This provider paid attention to my questions and suggested ways to get help for to get an ongoing medical problem. A date (March 1, 2070) had been given to me in November of 2060. Not a life or death, issue, but a very uncomfortable one that could probably be resolved in ten minutes.

This appointment was a follow up referral from my visit to the emergency room. They wanted to make sure I was still breathing. I guess! I was able to rest somewhat better after seeing Lynn Vanthom as she prescribed a prednisone that took some of the horrific pain away. After two weeks of constant pain she was a Godsend. I still have a fair way to go to feeling better.
