About Caitlin M. M
For Caitlin Zimmerman, PA-C, medicine offers a challenging, ever-changing and rewarding career. She chose primary care for the variety it offers day-to-day. Caitlin likes helping people maintain a healthy lifestyle during the most vulnerable times in their lives and thoroughly enjoys the long-term relationships she builds with patients over time.
Caitlin emphasizes setting individualized, short-term goals and helping her patients reach them. “As a provider, I feel it’s important to create a safe space for patients to discuss personal issues,” she says. “Creating this comfortable environment allows for better care.”
After completing her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Oregon State University, Caitlin earned her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Caitlin was born and raised in the Portland metro area. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and finding tasty, hole-in-the-wall restaurants around the city.

I am always satisfied with my care at Providence. My virtual appointment with Caitlyn was very professional. She made sure I knew of all the risks taking the medication, what to look for and to be sure and contact the office if I had any questions or concerns. When one is not feeling well, to talk to a medical person and be reassured they are there for me 24 hours a day is a comfort.

I recently had my first appointment with Caitlin, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the time and attention she gave me.
