About Mary B. Brown
Family nurse practitioner Mary Beth Brown knew since high school that she wanted to be a nurse. She has been in the nursing profession for more than 35 years and finds fulfillment in caring for patients of all ages. She strives to be a great listener with her patients in the hope of providing the excellent health care they deserve.
Mary Beth's main goal as a provider is to help her patients achieve and maintain their highest state of health and well-being. Her philosophy of care is seeing her patients as individuals, each with their own history and medical needs. "I want my patients to think of themselves as the pilot of their health care; I am their co-pilot, helping to direct the path to their optimal state of health and well-being," she says.
Mary Beth earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from West Virginia University. She has a master's degree in nursing from Texas Women's University and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Post Master's Certificate from Oregon Health & Science University.
Mary Beth was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia. She is married and has three sons. In her free time she enjoys exercise, gardening, travel and living a healthy life.
