About Annalisa C. Hawthorne
As a student, Annalisa Hawthorne, DO, shadowed emergency department physicians. The variety of patients and conditions she observed led her to pursue a career in family medicine. “I wanted to help people of all ages,” she shares. “I enjoy treating individuals as well as families, which involves working across the full range of daily challenges.” In her practice, Dr. Hawthorne emphasizes treating the whole person. “Physical, mental, and environmental factors can all have a significant impact on health,” she offers. Dr. Hawthorne sees her role as guide and navigator through an often complex health care system. “I am passionate about patient education. When patients understand their health conditions, they are empowered to take control of their long-term well being.” Dr. Hawthorne earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Arizona State University and continued to the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree. She completed her residency at Clarkson Family Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Hawthorne loves the rich variety of outdoor activities Oregon offers. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, visiting the coast, art, photography, and spending time with family.

She was very nice and respectful. It was a first time appointment. She allowed me to go over a large list of concerns I have. And had good/helpful advise or suggestions for most of it. I think she did a great job and didn't make me feel rushed. I do think there where a couple of things over looked. Nothing that was crucial but I would have liked to have had checked. Overall all it was a very good experience.

This was the first time I met with this provider. It was challenging to get an appointment. I will need additional time to really evaluate this provider. I had been with My previous provider for 30+ years until her office closed. It really takes time to get to know each provider. And also takes time for the new provider learn about you. I look forward to getting to know Dr Hawthorne better over time.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Hawthorne. I think she will be a good care provider. She was a good listener and ordered tests to find out causes of the health concerns I have.

First time seeing new PCP Dr. Hawthorne. She was attentive and thorough but lacked the easy conversation style of my previous PCP. I hope that will improve as we get to know each other better.

It is difficult to comment on the provider as it was a new patient appointment. Since we just met for the first time, I feel positive about a developing relationship, but it takes time to know your doctor and your doctor to know me. It took quite a few months to get to see this particular doctor. My first appointment was rescheduled by the office and then when I came back to reschedule it takes a long time when it's a new patient visit.. I was happy with the care and the interaction with the physician on our first visit.
