About Madison K. Duppenthaler
A lifelong love of science and service led Dr. Madison Duppenthaler to a career in medicine. In her first medical role, she practiced as a direct care professional for people with physical and developmental disabilities. This experience solidified her passion for making a lasting impact on people and their medical journeys by becoming a physician. Today, she employs all of her knowledge and experience to help her patients optimize their function and quality of life. A naturally curious person, Dr. Duppenthaler enjoys learning as well as educating. "One of my favorite parts about my job is educating patients and families on diagnoses and disease processes to help them feel more comfortable with their plan of care" she says. In addition to providing evidence based care, she believes that her most important roles are as a teammate and advocate for her patients. "I want every patient to feel heard and cared for when they come into my office. I aim to create a welcoming environment and allow space for patients to tell their stories. This helps our team create a plan that best fits the patient's goals and needs" says Dr. Duppenthaler. A graduate of University of Minnesota Twin Cities Medical School in Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Duppenthaler completed her residency in Family Medicine at Methodist Family Medicine Residency in St Louis Park, MN. Her particular areas of interest are Preventative Health Care, Outpatient Procedures (skin biopsies, circumcision, implantable contraception, joint injections, wart removal), Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes, Hypertension, Mental Heath), and Medical Weight Management. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her family, hiking, biking, or roller blading. She loves raising her kids to be kind and curious individuals. And she is always up for a good beach read, puzzle, or board game if the opportunity arises.
