My provider always care my health

So thankful to have Dr Whetstone as my primary care doctor! She was so thorough and made me feel like I was really important to her.

I enjoy my visits at the Interstate clinic. The people are all lovely.

Dr Whetstone is knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and listens. We have an excellent doctor - patient relationship in my opinion. I was routed to this location when I moved to Portland during the pandemic. There are providers closer but I appreciate the care I get from Dr. Whetstone.

Dr. Whetstone has a therapeutic way of putting me to ease. She called before my appointment to let me know what supplies were available for the specific reason I was there, and made sure to follow-up with another provider that could help my situation. She is also informative and able to relay information in different ways for me to understand (verbally, even a diagram in the past to help me understand a different health concern). Also, it's hard to find providers that do not show their stress in outpatient care, but Dr. Whetstone is present with me each time I visit, and genuinely kind.

I've only ever had great experiences when visiting providence north Portland. Everybody from the staff that greets you once you walk in to the primary care providers, and everyone in between; have been BETOND helpful, kind, caring, knowledgeable and timely in all their responses. I've already recommended providence north Portland to some friends and family and I will continue to do so until I'm no longer seen there, and probably even still then! Thank you providence north Portland! Y'all are the best!

Dr. Whetstone always listed to my comments and responds in helpful ways. She is conservative about recommending more invasive types of treatments, which I appreciate.

Dr. Whetstone is very knowledgable, a great communicator, and a really good listener. She has correctly diagnosed and assisted me with treating multiple health issues, and when not able to help with treatment directly, she has referred me to great specialists to assist me these issues (urologist, ENT, etc.).

Dr. Whetstone was so thoughtful and compassionate about my struggles with recent health challenges and made a point to verbalize that I'm not to blame for them, out of concern that I might be feeling that way. That validation was so tremendously helpful, as well as her additional information about other concerns I have and my health goals going forward. Lastly, she took a moment to express care and comfort, recognizing that I've been stressed and anxious and somewhat fearful about the outcome of tests I was waiting for. That moment meant so much to me. I'm so grateful she's my doctor.
