Laura A. Hartlieb, PAC

A native of Long Island, NY, Laura initially pursued business and marketing in college, but found it less than fulfilling. So, she switched gears and enrolled in the Physician Assistant Accelerated Program at Touro College in Bay Shore, NY. There, she found her true calling – and graduated as the class valedictorian.

In her practice today, Laura values self-care, nutrition, exercise and mental health as the cornerstones of healthy living. She is an active listener and encourages her patients to ask questions so they can better understand their medical issues. “My goal is always to treat patients as I would want my own family to be treated,” she says.

Laura spent 11 years practicing in surgical settings in New York before joining Providence in 2021. The move fulfilled her longtime dream to live on the West Coast, as well as her growing desire to interact more closely with patients. “I believe it takes a strong team to give the best patient-centered care, and I’ve found that here at Providence Medical Group,” she says. “It’s a privilege to work with such dedicated and compassionate medical professionals, and to take part in the care of our amazing patients.”

In her spare time, Laura enjoys training in boxing, hiking through the beautiful state of Oregon, and spending time with her rescue dog and travel buddy, Mabel.
