Asked what she enjoys most about being a family physician, Lydia Villegas, MD, says, "Interacting with people, becoming a partner in their care and getting to know the whole family." Dr. Villegas earned her medical degree at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, and completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She is board certified in family practice. Dr. Villegas takes a special interest in women's health in addition to her overall interest in health promotion.

I wrote to my primary through my chart and got a response immediately from her team. I also got a phone call to schedule the next available appointment which was three days away and I was willing to accept that. I was pleasantly surprised when 10 minutes later, they called back to let me know that they had an appointment available the very next day! I believe this practice goes above and beyond and I'm so happy that I am a patient here.
