Thomas L. Kasten, MD

Dr. Kasten was very thorough and I felt that he truly took his time and was genuinely interested in helping me. As a woman, this feels like a rare experience; he is a gem and I look forward to working with him to get to the bottom of my health concerns. The nurse, whose name I can't recall, (though she mentioned she was new) was so very kind and reassuring. Very good experience!

I think very highly of Thom Kasten. He has been my doctor for decades - I followed him to this office. He has a very practical approach to medical care that I appreciated tremendously. On the downside, I had a staff person persistently ask me about my spouse's retirement date. I don't have a date for this and won't ever carry that information around in my head. I do not think this is germaine to my care or my insurance and your own records can demonstrate that this has been the status for years.

From the first point of contact, checking in for my appointment, to the nurse that prepped me to see the doctor, to seeing the doctor, I am blessed to be in good hands of a great medical team. Impressive.

Dr. Kasten is an excellent doctor. He always spends sufficient time with me and explains things clearly. Never seems rushed in any way. He also seems overbooked like most doctors these days, which is not his fault.

I am a new patient. This was my first visit. The practice I used to go to closed. A provider at that practice (who is also a parent at Providence) highly recommend the practice and the provider. I am confident I made the right choice going to this practice and provider.

Timely referrals to necessary specialists. Made sure that all my questions were answered and understood. This was my first visit, having moved from another state. My provider exceeded all expectations. An excellent physician.

My personal opinion is: I've been seeing this doctor for quite a few years. Thomas Kasten is excellent; he monitors my diabetes very closely and carefully considers every doubt I have about the effectiveness of my medication. I'm very satisfied with letting him monitor and treat my health.

This was my first mandayory visit with a physician. It was a pleasant visit and he reviewed and seemed to really care about my health and health history. The visit was not rushed and I felt "seen". Also, the nurse was very kind and thorough.
