About Tonya L. Sartor
Physician Assistant Tonya Sartor grew to love the health care field while serving as a medic in the military. "I worked alongside several physician assistants and realized this is the profession for me," she says. "I chose family practice because I want to help patients of all ages focus on preventive medicine."
Tonya views the patient as the most important member of a health care team. She says creating a plan that works for patients is necessary to accomplish any health goal and listening is the first step. "All patients deserve quality, complete care, and I strive to provide that in a way that works for them as individuals," she says.
Tonya earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University. Tonya has also earned an HIV Specialist Credential from the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
Born in Portland, Tonya enjoys spending time with her friends and family, hiking, sports and playing with her yellow Labrador.
