Virginia Stinnett, RN, DNP, FNP-C Hello, I would like to give a friendly intro and share a little bit about what I do and my professional journey. Right now, I am absolutely loving my role working alongside Dr. Collins at Grace Family Practice. We are a team that is super dedicated to making sure every patient gets truly comprehensive and personalized care - basically, we always put our patients first! My path in healthcare actually started quite a while ago, way back in 1993. For 18 years, I was immersed in the intensive world as an RN in the Trauma Surgery Intensive Care Unit. It was a demanding but incredibly rewarding experience that really honed my skills in managing complex situations and caring for people at their most vulnerable moment. After my time in ICU, I decided to broaden my horizons and pursued advance education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). My foundational nursing education began at the University of Oklahoma, and I kept building on that, earning my Master's from West Texas A&M University, and then my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Lubbock Christian University. All that schooling has really helped me bring a well-rounded and skilled approach to modern healthcare. Becoming an FNP allowed me to focus more directly on primary care, preventive health and helping people manage their long-term wellness. What truly lights me up about being a Nurse Practitioner the incredible opportunity to empower individuals. I'm deeply passionate about guiding patients, not just telling them what to do, but giving them the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health. My ultimate goal is to help them to feel great and truly enhance their quality of life.
