This visit was a follow up to my ER/hospital stay. I was very Impressed with Dr. Purtteman. She was very thorough and personable.

I took my son in as a "walk-in", but we were seen almost right away. The receptionist was really kind, professional and caring! It's not my first encounter with her and she is amazing and very welcoming! The provider we saw, listened very intently to my concerns regarding my son and provided me with some peace of mind with the information that she provided. Great experience all around!!

She is a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor and I will miss her as she takes on the role of Supervisor to the residents at the hospital who are in training.

IF there were doctor's with her traits and amazing communication then so many patients would look forward to the visit. It's such a huge loss to know she will not be my doctor . I really like Melissa Purtteman. She always listens to my concerns that I have and give me her recommendations. I am very sad that she is not going to be my doctor any more, but I am happy for her that she is following her dream.

Dr Purtteman was so good in reviewiing records, lab tests and treatment and surgery I had received from several providers outside of the Providence system as I was somewhat concerned about any coordination or concerns that might be missed.
