Savannah Horntvedt, DO

Dr. Savannah Horntvedt was born and raised in Redmond Washington. She received her bachelors in biology at the University of Washington while working at Starbucks as a barista. She left the Pacific Northwest to live and attend Medical School at Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Savannah completed her clerkships in Eastern Idaho where she discovered a newfound respect for rural medicine and its patients. Dr. Horntvedt's passion lies in helping underserved communities and improving communication and understanding between patient and physician. She has a special interest in global health formed by her love of traveling, interest and respect for other cultures, and desire to care for underserved communities. Her passion was reinvigorated during her month-long trek through the Himalayas to support people normally cut off from medical care. She also has specific interests in addiction medicine, women’s health, and sports medicine. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, physical fitness, outdoor activities, reading, and making a mess of the kitchen while cooking and baking. She is excited to begin another chapter of her life in the Tri-Cities where she will work to make a positive difference while making new connections and discovering all that the area has to offer.
