About Natalia I. Smith
Natalia Smith, NP, is a medical oncology nurse practitioner at Providence Swedish Cancer Institute Edmonds. She began her healthcare journey at the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as an oncology nurse, she went on to receive a Master of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University at Pueblo by completing the dual emphasis Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Family Nurse Practitioner program. Natalia has been practicing medicine as a nurse practitioner since 2018, with a focus on oncology, high risk patients, clinical research, and cancer survivorship. Her practice emphasizes patient education and a collaborative approach that helps the patient to best understand their condition and corresponding treatment plan. In addition to clinical care, Natalia has previously served on several committees and managed numerous projects, including working with the American Cancer Society for their “Return to Screening” Initiative.
