My daughter was with me and she was not convinced the doctor was engaged and concerned and lacked empathy with my genuine concerns Sometimes I feel like and I may be wrong That if I was younger I may be treated with more care I keep getting comments like When I ask for a referral I'm Not sure they can help you.Which is so discouraging My daughter asked her about doctors who might be able to help me.. I don't feel comfortable answering this survey but felt maybe I should anyway..

My provider knows my health record (even though I transferred to her with a significant medical history from other providers), and listens to the things I say. I feel respected by her, valued, and that my health is important.

Dr. Breen is an excellent health provider. She listens attentively and respectfully, always answers my questions, and shows me where to get more information if I need it. Her care team replies to portal messages quickly and prescriptions refills are also done fast. I feel like I'm in very good hands with Dr. Breen and her team as my primary health providers.

My appointment was for a follow-up on a visit to ER. I made a virtual appointment (as staff at ER said I could) but was called the day before and told it HAD to be in person (due to blood pressure testing). She worked to get me in the next day, which I appreciated as I couldn't change my virtual appointment to in person at time it was scheduled. I arrived 45 minutes before my scheduled time and was seen within a few minutes of sitting in waiting room! Appointment was exactly what I needed - all subjects I needed to address were resolved in a very timely manner. I appreciate Dr Breen and her team so much.

Healthcare has become a game of cover the symptom with whatever pharmaceutical is a fair match. Nutrition and lifestyle should be further up on the care scale. I have fairly low expectations at this point and try to do as much preventative and research of my health on my own. Dr. Breen is doing the best she can within the confines of the healthcare system and I appreciate that she is open to ideas beyond pharmaceuticals.
