My provider was extremely thorough and respectful. The preparation steps for my procedure were thoroughly explained. I was pleased that there was a virtually no wait time to schedule my consult appointment and subsequent procedure. Given our rural area, this is uncommon.The office staff have been very communicative--they called me yesterday (one week before my procedure) to make sure I understood the 7-day prep instructions and that I had the 1-day prep drink. The person I spoke to was friendly and easy to talk to. I was highly impressed with the customer service!

I had the best experience ever with this provider. She was knowledgeable and explained my situation throughly and explained what my past colonoscopies showed and exactly how to prep for my upcoming colonoscopy.

Gigi and the nurse before her were very knowledgeable and were versed on why I was there and what I needed. They prepped me well for two difficult procedures that followed.

It took awhile because of the gastro backlog in Humboldt County, but once I got on the list to call the process has been good.

The one thing I'd like to comment on is the impact Gigi had on an assumption about my health. She seemed very certain that I had an ulcer or some underlying issue with my upper GI tract. After getting an EGD, I do not have an ulcer or any internal damage of any kind. Her confidence in this assumption sparked significant anxiety and worry. In the future, it would be more helpful if she didn't say things like this with such certainty. Doctors and NPs need to understand that their words carry weight and can cause unnecessary stress, anxiety & worry. Other than that, I did like Gigi. She expedited my care in an urgent situation which I greatly appreciated.
