It's hard to make an appointment when you're sick. It is inconvenient to go to places such as dermatology and gastroenterology because they have made an appointment after time has passed. My stomach hurt a lot this time, but my doctor gave me a referral to the examination in a short time, which I was grateful to

He was caring and respectful

This was the first time I saw Dr. Koo. My family physician Dr. Aaron Lin referred me to see him because I had upper abdominal discomfort recently. He was very approachable, explained things in simple terms, listened to my questions and concerns patiently. It's hard to find a doctor who really cares these days.

Dr. Koo does not have a good bedside manner. Dry, not welcoming. Appt was at 315, office requested I arrive at 3:05, I arrived at 3pm and was not seen until 345. I asked a lot of questions because I have never been to a liver specialist before and when I further asked about what type of auto immune testing he would like to do, he repeated auto immune testing. I again clarified what are the names of the tests? His response was Hepatitis. So I clarified is that the only test? He said no, other tests autoimmune. I observed he didn't feel the need to educate me on my health.
