About Janak T. Bahirwani
Dr. Janak Bahirwani is a gastroenterologist who obtained his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, India. Following his medical education, Dr. Bahirwani embarked on his professional journey as an internal medicine resident at St Luke's University Health Network, where he also served as a chief resident. Dr Bahirwani then completed his fellowship from the same hospital, serving as the chief fellow in his final year. His contributions were recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Senior Resident of the Year award upon completing his residency. He has also won various outstanding poster presentation awards at national conferences including American College of Gastroenterology, Digestive Disease week as well as American college of physicians.

I was seen for my 1st time with my new provider, Dr. Barawani. My medical insurance had changed and my previous doctor I have been seeing for the last 8 years, is now out of network. So I'm a new patient, and I'm praying for great results and to get me taken care of. It's been a long journey in horrible daily pain and constant, non-stop bloating. I'm putting my faith in to my new doctor. :-). This is the best statement I can give as of now, since I have only been seen 1 time. :-)
