Dr Tony is extremely caring and passionate about his patient care. He went above and beyond to make sure that he provided me with quality care. I had been hospitalized twice before and discharged only to be returned to the hospital again. I feel that when I was under his care I knew that things were being done correctly and that he was taking everything extremely serious. He also has scheduled me a recheck and did a great job about giving me a medicine schedule that slowly weans me off of my medications while also keeping me comfortable. I really appreciate his care!

Dr. Tony is seriously one of the best providers I've ever had the pleasure of seeing in my life. I had a serious issue that he went out of his way, & above & beyond to help me with. I'm currently in recovery from the issue thanks to Dr. Tony. He's a seriously amazing person.

Dr Tony and his office staff are all a breathe of fresh air! I appreciate the time, care, and support I needed. I felt heard, cared for, and like I was in the best of hands. I have never felt this way from providence before, in fact it's been the opposite! Thank you Dr Tony and I hope you stay! Our community needs you!

Too rushed

This office was able to get me in for surgery much sooner than I expected due to a cancellation. Being a nervous patient I was relieved to get it over with.

Waited a long time to be seen. Wasn't given enough information about what would happen at the visit. Felt rushed and not in control of what was happening. Wasn't given all the information from the doctor about what he was doing but learned more from reading the clinical notes on my chart.

I have nothing to complain about. Dr.Tony was courteous, knowledgeable, and attentive to what I had to say. The support staff was fine and, when there was an unexpected opening in the schedule, got me in early for my procedure.

The provider was knowledgeable and frank.

Provider did not care nor listen to what I had to say, does not listen to patients. Thinks patient is crazy

Made time to see me asap

Dr Tony provided really great care. I liked that he went over the pathology results for my sons appendix. Giving additional information on what he saw during the operation. He was kind and attentive to my 11 year old, answering his questions and seemed as though he really did care how my child was doing and not just another number. Getting quality care here in Humboldt is hard but Dr Tony is exceptional.

As always, Dr. Tony was on top of my recent procedure and the results and was able to give me easy to understand instructions on how to continue to care for my medical condition and the procedure related to it. He listened to all of my concerns or questions and was able to give me clear answers.

Trying to schedule the appointment took a while, but everything at the appointment itself went great.

Dr Tony and his entire staff have taken care of my medical needs for over 1.5 years and have always gone above and beyond to meet my needs. During a very difficult period of fighting Breast cancer they have made this a pleasant as they could and have ALWAYS made sure I was comfortable and my concerns were addressed and answered to my satisfaction. I would be extremely happy to use them again in the future should the need arise. Dr Tony would be the only surgeon I would feel confident with taking care of me and my family

I have never had a bad experience when I needed yo visit Dr. Tony. He treats me with respect and explains everything so I can understand, answers my questions and sometimes he will draw me a picture on the problem I am having so I can understand better. He is a fantastic doctor and person and I trust him very much. Wish more doctors were like him.

Tony answered all my questions and was very thorough in his explanations of treatment options. It would have been even better if he discussed detailed aspects of my scopes (EGD and colonoscopy) with me.

Dr. Tony is my surgeon and I have seen him for specialty care. Originally I was referred to him for a hernia (which he identified correctly as cancer). I've always thought of Dr. Tony as affable, highly professional, profoundly efficient in his time management with patients, and also wonderfully charismatic, open and approachable for medical discussions, and uniquely comforting in his straight-forward comforting manner of addressing my questions and concerns. Coming back to see him again for an in office surgery I was not surprised to see he has cultivated a marvelous support staff both in front and in the medical back offices having the same qualities along with high quality training and information. Hence this is a team of professionals I would wish to serve as an example to all of Providence. Because this team has the right stuff. Their number one priority is me--the patient. And I feel this comforting presence when I enter the front door and it flows until I leave the building. Even my aftercare instructions are written focusing on the details I need to know and do on the front page instead of buried beneath pages of admin info and protocols. Just an excellent crew. I would call them in a heartbeat if I had a problem they could treat.
