About Traci Dong
Traci Dong is a California board-certified Physician Associate (PA-C). She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences in 2022. She began her surgical career in Kidney-Pancreas Transplant surgery at Providence St. Joseph Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in complex post-operative care, intraoperative first-assist support, and immunosuppression management. She has since joined Providence St. Jude Hospital, applying her high-acuity surgical background to General Surgery and is looking forward to continuing to grow and learn in this new role. Traci's philosophy of care centers on evidence-based medicine with the patient's health and safety as the top priority. She places strong emphasis on thorough preoperative preparation and diligent postoperative follow-up, believing that consistent, attentive care at every stage of the surgical journey is key to optimal outcomes.
