About Shawn M. Morgan
Shawn Morgan, M.D., became a physician in order to combine his interest in biology with his desire to help people. In his practice he specializes in laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Morgan considers his most important roles as a surgeon are providing unbiased information and the best care that he can.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Morgan completed his residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center. He is board-certified in general surgery.
Dr. Morgan was born in Seattle and is married with four children. He served in the Peace Corps for two years and has traveled to the Dominican Republic twice to volunteer his services as a surgeon. In his spare time, Dr. Morgan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and bird watching.
