Dr. Tim Byun is a board-certified Hematologist/Medical Oncologist practicing for over 20 years in Orange County. He completed medical school at Rush Medical School in Chicago followed by Internal Medicine Residency, Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at University of California, Irvine. He is a staff physician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital.
Dr. Byun’s areas of expertise and clinical areas of interest includes general hematology, medical oncology, and clinical cancer research. He values comprehensive, compassionate care which frequently needs interdisciplinary approach. He has been involved in cancer research and published in medical journals. He has received awards including OCMA physician of excellence. He is involved in leadership positions including Medical Director for Cancer Research at the Center for Cancer Prevention and Research, Providence St. Joseph.

These were usually fine with me, but my last couple of appointments have been in person with this provider. He seems very professional and friendly and does always provide me with answers to my questions and goes over the labwork done prior to the visit. I'm happy with his medical care.
