Dr Akagi is rather quiet and sometimes seems to be rushing through the appointment. Still, she is pleasant and kind. I do not like that I have to go to a different location to get my blood drawn. And pay extra.

Very attentive & knowledgeable

I really appreciated the extent to which the dr. Knew My history and the detail to which she understood my health issue. All I really had to do was to fill in the details and embellish her understanding of my health issue a little to work out a treatment plan.

She is very knowledgeable about HIV. I trust her judgement completely.

This provider is always very thorough, all has the information she needs to treat me. She is always sensitive to my feelings is very understanding and non- judgemental. I am always very comfortable in asking what I need from her and she is always willing robgo above and beyond when needed.

Doctor Fukushima was very thorough and knowledgeable and did a great job caring for me in the Hospital as well as following up after my discharge!

Dr.Akagi is the best doctor I've ever seen. She explains everything in detailed reports. This is my 2nd time needing her help. In 2023 I had infection in right thumb, surgeon said he needed to amputate it & if I waited 2 more days he'd have to amputate entire right hand. She put me on 1700mgs of antibiotics, for 30 days and saved my hand & thumb! Unfortunately it damaged my kidneys, but I knew that was a risk. This time around I can only take 200mg antibiotics for 10 days. I'm putting all my faith in Dr. Akagi to cure me once again.

Dr. Akagi is the best and so is her staff.

I would like to comment regarding my inpatient stay at Providence. Everyone was very attentive, helpful, couldn't have asked for a better team. Meals were really good too. Have to say I enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend Providence.

Everything was fine. I read lips, so the masks are a problem. However, I understand the need. The doctor made every effort to talk slowly and clearly. I appreciate that. It's very stressful to have to strain to hear and understand. Dr. Akagi did a good job.

Dr. Akagi is very professional and deeply involved in her patience. At least with me she was. She really cared about what happened to my shoulder and the infections that I dealt with. Had it not been for her, I don't think I would've had the results that I Received. I love this woman!

I'm very lucky that I have Dr. Akagi-Fukushima as my HIV Dr. Her and her team are my favorite group of professionals I see regularly. I go to each appointment knowing that I will be treated with respect and by the time I leave I know that all my healthcare concerns have been met and addressed.
