About Bishoy T. Samuel
Dr. Bishoy T. Samuel is a dual board-certified physician in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine with a foundation in Internal Medicine and a Masters in Population Health Science. With his combined experiences he brings a uniquely integrated approach to patient care at Providence Medical Group Santa Rosa. Dr. Samuel has published peer-reviewed first-author work in the behavioral health analytics space and has contributed to quantitative research on mathematical forecast modeling of disease epidemics. Dr. Samuel’s philosophy centers on the belief that behavioral transformation is the foundation of lasting health. He approaches every patient with curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to evidence-based, whole-person care. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish, allowing him to connect with a broad and diverse patient population. This is the very first time a doctor has impressed me since I became a patient with Providence Medical. When he came into the room, he introduced himself to me, called me by name, shook his my hand. Dr. Samuel knew exactly why I was there, I needed a pre op clearance. Dr. Samuel had empathy and kindness towards me regarding my upcoming surgery for my left knee. Dr. Samuel was encouraging and showed compassion. This is the very BEST experience thus far with Providence. I am planning on changing to make him my primary care doctor in the future. Thank you!
