About Bishoy T. Samuel
Dr. Bishoy T. Samuel is a dual board-certified physician in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine with a foundation in Internal Medicine and a Masters in Population Health Science. With his combined experiences he brings a uniquely integrated approach to patient care at Providence Medical Group Santa Rosa. Dr. Samuel has published peer-reviewed first-author work in the behavioral health analytics space and has contributed to quantitative research on mathematical forecast modeling of disease epidemics. Dr. Samuel’s philosophy centers on the belief that behavioral transformation is the foundation of lasting health. He approaches every patient with curiosity, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to evidence-based, whole-person care. He is fluent in English, Arabic, and Spanish, allowing him to connect with a broad and diverse patient population. Excellent office staff, medical assistants, and doctor

Care provider spent enough time with me but when asked to repeat my tests in 3 months he said yes -but he did not give me the correct tests to be repeated. So now I have to nag him on mychart. I should have been given the correct blood draws when I left. Very frustrating. This has happened before

I am a new resident of California, all my health issues were taken care of back east, I had and emergency visit to S/R hospital and it was discovered I had a deep vain blood clot in my left leg, and a clot in my lung. I had my first meeting with a cardiologist that will do follow up, and referred to Dr. Samuel as a possible medical provider? We met for the first time to go over history so there is no real treatment to speak of but first meeting was promising. Yes and no answers do not give too many options to make a real opinion. It's a work in progress. Thank you

I have seen Dr. Samuel twice and during each visit he has provided medical services that, in my opinion, are excellent and above and beyond the call of duty. He completed one particular item immediately at the conclusion of our visit rather than just mailing it later. This turned out to be very important to me and he did it without even asking. Dr. Samuel concentrates on his patients needs by listening carefully and patiently and explains medical issues with a clarity seldom seen today. I am absolutoley pleased with his attitude of patient centered medical practice. He is OUTSTANDING and I would recomment him to others without reservation. Providene is fortunate to have him on staff and his patients ar fortunate to have him as their doctor reating their medical issues. He is a great addition to Providence, one of the best I have ever seen.
