Sara E. Walz, MD

I have been pleased to see a PA or NP if a sudden health issue arises; Dr. Walz schedules months out for routine exams due to her other duties. I have wondered if the exam should entail more than listening to my heart, but I assume the questionnaire and input from the nurse directs her attention and concerns. She is a good listener and would follow up, I am certain, if she detected a serious issue.

Front desk reception called me by my name. A Wow moment for me! Thanks Dr. Walz is always exceptional, she's managing my dementia and is always kind, knowledgeable and caring. The best Doctor I have ever had!

Dr. Walz is concerned about your mental health as well as physical. She provides resource information. She thoroughly explains conditions an resources.

I am very happy with Dr. Sara Walz. She is the best physician I could hope for. I did have to call her office week before my yearly wellness visit to get an order for the blood work prior to the visit. It would be nice to be assured the blood work to automatically ordered knowing it has to be done before I see the doctor. I get a number of emails reminding me of my appointment and test. I also got emails to Check In on my chart. But I had to personal call to get the blood work ordered.

Dr Walz is an excellent physician for me and I sincerely appreciate her stellar care.

I am very happy with Dr. Walz and the care she gives me!! This visit was a to consult on a question relating to a test procedure that has been recommended and since she knows my medical information, I wanted her opinion on whether I should go forward and look at getting the procedure done or not.

Dr Walz is extremely knowledgeable in geriatric issues, listens to the patient and family's concerns, and is extremely compassionate to their multi-faceted needs. She paints a realistic clinical progression and understandable expectations based on the diagnoses for the patient and family.

Always a positive experience

Sara is wise and compassionate and I trust her. The only difficult part of this appointment for me (other than discovering she was no longer as available for office visits) was that our 40 minute appointment ended after 25 minutes. It is so rare to have time with a Dr, I feel every minute available is important. It is the first time I have felt so rushed by her. That said, I would always wish her the best, and am happy to feel she will continue to be even a distant part of my health team.

Sara Walz is a gift, a rare MD. She combines solid knowledge base and intelligence around medical issues with exceptional/outstanding interpersonal skills. She is both warm and honest, compassionate and realistic. It feels like I am talking with a full human being when I see her, and like she sees me as a full human being.
