Adam Knott, MD

Adam Knott is a Resident Internal Medicine Provider at Providence Primary Care - Northeast Portland. Adam grew up in the small town of Stanwood, Washington and moved to Seattle to obtain his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Washington. After graduating he worked as a medical scribe for several years in the Emergency Room as well as several primary care clinics. He then attended medical school at Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. There he became a strong advocate for patients and an involved member of his community while participating in multiple lobby days at the state capital and serving as Vice Chair of the Medical Student Section of the Washington State Medical Association. Adam is passionate about health equity and hopes to be a leader for his patients and for the future community he will serve. After residency he hopes to specialize in Infectious Disease. Outside of medicine, Adam enjoys playing competitive volleyball, playing board games with friends, weightlifting, and exploring the PNW. Adam plans to pursue an infectious disease fellowship after completing his residency.
