Elise Thompson, MD

Elise Thompson is a Resident Internal Medicine Provider at Providence Primary Care - Northeast Portland. Elise grew up in Portland, Oregon with her parents and younger sister. She obtained a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Scripps College and a master's degree in molecular microbiology and immunology from John Hopkins School of Public Health. She returned to Portland to complete medical school at Oregon Health and Science University. There, she became involved in medical education curriculum development and accessibility initiatives for health professions students with neurodivergence, chronic illness, and disability. She is honored to continue serving her hometown community and PPMC. Outside of medicine, Elise loves making pottery, rock climbing, biking, and spending as much time outside as possible.
