Katie grew up in Ogden, Utah before moving to Eugene, Oregon, to become a University of Oregon Duck, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology. After graduating, she moved to Portland where she worked as a scribe at the Providence Brain & Spine Institute before starting medical school at OHSU. Dr. Berry was solicitous and thorough during my Wellness Care visit. She did not talk down to me. When I had to message her with a follow-up question re: an over-the-counter medication she had recommended, she responded clearly and helpfully in less than four hours even though the portal stated that I might need to wait up to three days for a response. I was positively impressed!
