About Lisa M. Paul
When asked what she finds most rewarding about being a physician, Lisa Paul, MD, responds, "Making people feel better and getting to know them over many years." She prefers a teamwork approach in her practice, involving her patients in their health care decisions. "I see my role as twofold," she says. "First is to emphasize health maintenance and prevention. And second, in the event of an illness, to help coordinate care so my patients don't get lost in a sea of specialists."
A native Oregonian, Dr. Paul earned her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland and completed her internship and residency with Providence Portland Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Paul and her husband have two daughters. When she's not seeing patients, Dr. Paul enjoys traveling, exercising and spending time with family and friends
