About Brandon M. Jones
Dr. Jones first became excited about becoming a physician while working on a 911 ambulance as an undergraduate student at UCLA. “I found myself especially fascinated by cardiac emergencies, which eventually prompted me to pursue a career as an interventional cardiologist. People come to us with a wide variety of difficult problems - their chest hurts, they can’t breathe, or they can’t do the activities they enjoy. To be able to help them is very gratifying.”
In addition to coronary interventions, Dr. Jones has a special focus in performing minimally invasive structural heart procedures including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Mitra-clip, paravalvular leak closure and PFO closure.
For patients who may need such interventions, Dr. Jones notes that he enjoys the opportunity to get to know each patient and their family, understand their values, goals and expectations, and to guide them through what can often seem like a scary process.
