Jennifer Christenson, FNP, is a highly experienced family nurse practitioner dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across diverse healthcare settings. Jennifer earned her Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, Massachusetts. She furthered her education at Loma Linda University in California, where she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certificate, solidifying her foundation in advanced nursing practice. With over two decades of experience, Jennifer has worked in various clinical roles, including urgent care, campus health, family practice, and specialized clinics. Her most recent role involves providing per diem urgent care services, where she utilizes her skills to address acute patient needs effectively. From 2014 to 2021, Jennifer served as an FNP at Walla Walla University, overseeing Campus Health and Wellness, where she provided comprehensive care to students, staff, and faculty, demonstrating her adaptability in different organizational environments, including Adventist Health and Providence. Her previous experience includes working in family practice and anticoagulation management at Adventist Health, where she played a pivotal role in coordinating the clinic's policies and procedures, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills. Jennifer also spent time at Loma Linda VA Hospital's Surgical Orthopedic and Urology Departments, where she managed post-operative care, performed evaluations and treatments, and collaborated with surgeons, showcasing her proficiency in specialized care. Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International and has received numerous accolades, including recognition in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and a Freshman Honor Student Scholarship at Atlantic Union College.
