About Joanna Sullivan
Voted "Top Doctor" by Portland Monthly four years in a row - 2019-2022 - Joanna loves being present in such a transformative, exciting moment in people's lives. Prior to returning to school to become a midwife, Joanna worked as an assistant in a home birth practice in Los Angeles. It was a wonderful experience providing care to women in their home setting, and she strives to bring a sense of calm and gentleness to all of the births she attends. She joined Providence Women's Clinic in 2011.
Joanna has a special interest in serving the LGBT community and also enjoys providing gynecological care. Joanna is a Portland native and, after living in California for many years, she is happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest. She has a wonderful partner and a young son. She was a patient of Providence Women's Clinic herself and felt it was an incredible experience giving birth in her home practice. When not working, she loves to berry pick, hike and ride her bike around town.

This provider are one of the best doctor a have ever had!One problem what I have - I can't schedule visit with her online I should always call and it's not comfortable. I can schedule on line only visit with my family doctor
