About Shanna D. Morrow
A lifelong love of caring for others lead Shanna to a career in medicine. In her first medical role, she practiced as a nurses aid, followed by neonatal bedside nursing, charge nursing, nurse educator and neonatal nurse practitioner. Several family members practiced nursing. She saw how dedicated they were and the self-gratification they felt from caring for others. That experience ultimately inspired her to continue her education and become a nurse practitioner. Today, she employs all of her knowledge and experience to help her patients grow and thrive and ultimately discharge home. A naturally curious person, Shanna enjoys learning as well as educating. Her favorite activities are outdoors and include fishing, watching sporting events and hanging out with family and friends. "I love caring for the strongest of all patients; Neonates have incredible resilience and defy limitations each and every day."
