About Andrew S. Nik
Dr. Nik is board certified in both neurology and vascular neruology and stroke. "Neurologic illnesses can be challenging, but we are discovering new treatments every day," says Dr. Nik. "My goal is to provide compassionate care to each patient using the best treatment options for each one." Dr. Nik served as a neurohospitalist for John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio and Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, where he was involved in resident teaching as well as community outreach including appearing on the local NBC affiliate and lecturing at the Mizell Senior Center. Since December 2015, he has joined the Mission Heritage Medical Group, where he continues to provide compassionate care to those with neurological illness.

I waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes and then in the exam room for 25 minutes before I saw Dr. Nik. He has ordered tests on me but doesn't always follow up to let me know the results. Sometimes I need to call his office to get the test results. He has ordered 2 brain MRIs, 1 neck CT-scan, leg pressure blood flow, echocardiogram, nerve test, and blood tests. I also had a TEE exam. I have appointments with Dr. Cua and Dr. Ming Li to follow up and explain these results.
