It was my first time at a Providence clinic and being seen by a neurologist. It was a good and productive experience. Dr. F. Villanueva was engaging and provided insight to my questions and concerns. It was my first appointment with her. The nurse assistant was efficient and has a caring and friendly demeanor. The office space was adequate and personnel were nice and treated me respectfully.

I always appreciate the courtesy and respect Dr Villanueva and staff convey. If needed, they squeeze me into their schedule as well they did most recently.

Her main focus is always to make sure I am getting all the care I need to address my MS concerns and this is so appreciated as it took a long time to get my official diagnosis. She was the 1st doctor to be honest and call it what it was and that meant EVERYTHING to me cause for so other doctors didn't want to tell me and treated me for other conditions, but didn't address the main issue. Dr. V is phenomenal!!

Regarding my appointment with Dr. Farah Villanueva: This was a speciality visit, not routine. It took a long time to schedule this appointment. But the staff was great. Moreover, Dr. Villanueva was EXCELLENT!! I can't say enough good things about her. She was patient and listened to my concerns. And she is MUCH BETTER than my previous Neurologist (who is in a different Provider Group; Not Providence). Dr. Villanueva provided excellent care. I would recommend her to anyone!

When I emailed Dr Villanueva if I can see her earlier due to my condition since the appointment that is available when I called is next year in April which is too late for the condition I would like to discuss with her. Someone called me the next day and the doctor was able to squeezed me in. When I visited Dr Villanueva she listened to my concerns and did not rushed me at all.

This is one of the best doctors I've ever had. She is an excellent neurologist & has even done additional study on her own about the diseases & disorders I have that are treated by other doctors on my health team. She is a great listener extremely thorough & very kind & compassionate. I couldn't give the same review to all but one of my other doctors (and I have quite a few specialists). Providence is lucky to have Dr. Villanueva as part of their Torrance neurology team. I hope you hang on to her!

It was a most important experience. It put me at easa about the future progression of my illness. My doctor is also getting me an appointment with a specialist in an area she does not do. Each visit I learn more about myself that is vital to extending my life experiences.

My provider seemed genuinely concerned and asked a lot of questions. I felt she listened and gave me her best opinion. She ordered further tests for me and that made me feel better.

Dr. Villanueva spent double the alotted time with me, and was the most compassionate and kind doctor I've ever encountered in my life (I'm 51). She's extremely knowledgeable about my condition (peripheral neuropathy). She took my concerns seriously, addressed my fears, and just went way above and beyond. She's the best.

Dr. V is fantastic. She is a model of what an effective physician should be. Most doctors treat you like a number, particularly those in marginalized communities. However, Dr. V genuinely cares. No one is that good of an actress and she exudes the concepts of health and care. She should be your spokes person for Providence. She heals the whole person and that contributes to the physical concerns when you feel like someone cares.
